Born from the shared discovery and love of music accompanied by an untethered decade of friendship, The Butlers made their barn-storming entrance into the indie-rock scene in 2017 with their debut album ‘The Halfway House’ and a sold-out nation-wide tour of Aotearoa, New Zealand. Highlighted by the band opening for Rock icon Liam Gallagher at Auckland’s Spark Arena, Walt (Vox, Rhythm Guitar), George (Vox, Drums), Jordan (Vox, Bass) and Bradley (Lead Guitar) have released multiple bodies of work, staking their claim across various charts and amassing over 20-million streams while selling out multiple New Zealand and Australian tours. This coincides with appearances at some of Australasia’s most beloved festivals (Rhythm and Vines, Rhythm and Alps, Le Currents, Party in the Paddock, Bay Dreams). On top of their headline success, The Butlers have supported some of the biggest bands in the genre, (Ocean Alley, Sticky Fingers, Tash Sultana).
