Melbourne/ Naarm based electronic artist & tastemaker Dugong Jr. has just announced his headline DJ show in collaboration with Free-kin Weekend & Hawke's Brewing at the Factory Theatre (courtyard). Joining him on the night is a highly curated selection of some of Sydney's most promising up and coming artists including Jvly, DEEPA & Roxy Lotz. Dugong Jr flaunts a unique genre bending take on songwriting & production. Derived from a strong connection to his Chinese-Australian heritage, and drawing on childhood influences of Hip Hop and Chinese cinema, Dugong creates lush soundscapes with a strong focus on electronic music. Keeping himself busy over the last 12 months, Dugong Jr is set to release his highly anticipated debut album, ‘Good Time Hotel’ via the Berlin-based record label Majestic Casual in the coming months.
