Cough It Up! is a mini music festival with EGOISM, Chloe Dadd, Jet City Sports Club and ioakim at the Marrickville Bowling Club on 22 December. All profits are being donated to Cystic Fibrosis Community Care, an organisation that supports those living with CF.
EGOISM's drummer Adam lives with Cystic Fibrosis and is the reason we created and curated Cought It Up. Adam has been lucky to have had such incredible support from Cystic Fibrosis Community Care throughout his life. They have helped with financial assistance (for out-of-pocket medical expenses), social services, advocacy and general information around the condition itself. This is our chance to say thanks and give something back.
Cystic Fibrosis is the most common genetic illness affecting over 3,600 people in Australia. We are incredibly excited to help bring awareness to a condition that has controlled a large portion of Adam's life to give it a space to breathe in our Sydney music community.
