Furnace and the Fundamentals announce ‘A Very Furnace Christmas’ Australian tour
Santa, a snowman, Christmas elves and a cracker perform the greatest songs and holiday hits of all time in an outrageously fun show with special effects, unexpected theatrics and more.
Australia’s most epic party band FURNACE AND THE FUNDAMENTALS are taking their biggest ever Christmas party back to Melbourne, Brisbane & Sydney this December.
Their annual yuletide parties are now legendary, both on and off the stage, featuring photos with Santa (the real one, of course), best dressed competitions, raffle prizes and more.
Their ‘A Very Furnace Christmas’ album is fast becoming a holiday classic. Their amusing takes on popular songs like ‘Christmas Today’ (YMCA) and ‘Giving in the Name Of’ have featured on radio playlists across North America, Australia, the UK and Germany. The album debuted at #26 on the ARIA Charts and spent 17 weeks on Germany’s radio charts on its original release. Available on CD, vinyl & digitally, it continues to entertain fans of all ages.
The Christmas party tour follows on from their recent sold out ‘Furnapalooza’ Australian tour, which saw them play their biggest shows to date at Melbourne’s Festival Hall, Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall and 2 shows at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre. They also spent the European summer abroad, playing festivals including Chris Evan’s Carfest, Silverstone alongside Olly Murs, Todd in the Hole and headlining both Zomerfestival Ijmuiden and London’s famous O2 Shepherds Bush Empire.
These six loveable musical chameleons always ham it up and bring the Gingerbread house down, so get your dancing shoes on for these unmissable shows.
