Rising 19-year-old New Zealand pop artist Frankie Venter returns with her first single of the year, “Say It,” out September 18. The release follows her debut EP, a big deal to me, and a seven-show headline tour across Australia and New Zealand. “Say It” explores the ache of being loved for who you became rather than who you are. The realisation that someone’s affection was earned only through self-transformation, not genuine acceptance. Frankie is quickly establishing herself as one of New Zealand’s most exciting young artists.
