New-York born, Sydney-based songwriter and artist, Danté Knows, will be setting off around the country for his debut Australian headline tour. This tour announce comes in tandem with the release of his latest genre-bending indie-pop meets rock-rap single and accompanying video, “LOST YOUR MIND”. The track is taken from his forthcoming second EP, VICIOUS, out this November. Danté Knows’ New York upbringing surrounded by Brooklyn hip-hop and influences of reggae and dancehall are woven with passion through his songwriting and production. Meanwhile marrying a proud West Indian heritage with contemporary sounds of Lil Wayne and Vybz Cartel sees Danté unable to be pigeonholed. Out of the studio he remains just as unique, having appeared on runways for various brands during New York Fashion Week. Now based in Sydney, Danté Knows finds his home within the city’s music and hip-hop community. Danté hosts the monthly “Pass The Mic” initiative in partnership with Bodega Collective seeing 15 young musicians given the opportunity to perform in front of a packed room of 300+ hip-hop fans and industry. His live show is where all of Dante's various outputs are able to come together in perfect symbiosis. With equal measures of rock, pop, rap and indie, it's on the stage where his endeavours in fashion intertwine with his indelible stage presence to produce a show that draws an audience in from the first note played.
