Australian indie-popstress edith releases her latest track ‘bubble’ a nostalgic indie rock nod
to the morning after.
Written in collaboration with Robby De Sa (Gretta Ray, Charley), ‘Bubble’ is a departure
from edith’s previous releases. Taking influence from iconic Indie rock outfits such as Bloc
Party and Foals, De Sa’s production seamlessly blends indie rock sensibilities and nostalgic
charm with edith's signature pop sound and irresistible melodies.
With ‘Bubble’, edith demonstrates her exceptional storytelling ability, crafting vivid and
relatable narratives that explore the emotional landscape of post-night-out introspection. The
song captures the essence of those precious hours when thoughts and feelings float within
the confines of our minds, filled with equal parts uncertainty and euphoria. edith's lyrics paint
a picture of longing and self-reflection, delving into the complexities of human connection
and the transient nature of these ethereal moments.
“These moments, like bubbles, can vanish in a second” edith writes. “This track is about
meeting someone and seeing all at once, all that you could be and having that fantasy come
apart the morning after”
