22 year old West Australian Hip Hop sensation Mali Jose continues to pave his own path bringing a fresh perspective and outlook to the music scene that is authentic, globally appealing, yet uniquely Australian.   2023 saw Mali solidify his name both locally and abroad garnering international praise and recognition from the likes of Global Head of Hip Hop and R&B for Apple Music Ebro Darden, and music critic Anthony Fantano for his releases including his critically acclaimed sophomore EP BREEZECATCHER and music video for ‘PRICE UP!’ which was added to national rotation on Rage ABC and MTV Upload Australia wide. Furthermore, the breeze catcher applied pressure from all angles throughout the year closing 2023 as West Australian Music Awards Best Hip Hop/Rap Act of 2023, Acclaim Magazine 2023 Allstar, and as the most played hip hop artist and 7th most played artist in Australia on Triple J Unearthed. This coupled with support and rotation from both national and community radio made it impossible to escape Mali’s barrage of high quality and frequent releases. Mali returns to Naarm/Melbourne on March 24th at the Gasometer hotel to showcase a brand new show with brand new music from his latest bandcamp release "El Nino'. Mali hits the stage in a city that has shown the utmost love for what Mali and ALLBREED has been doing for the past few years.
